Tencent Holdings LtdTencent Cloud signs TruKKer to migrate its platform to Tencent Cloud's Saudi region and adopt CodeBuddy, a concrete customer win for Tencent's cloud/AI services.

Tencent Cloud, the cloud business of global technology company Tencent, has announced a partnership with TruKKer, MENA's largest digital freight network, to migrate TruKKer's platform to Tencent Cloud's Saudi Arabia region and adopt CodeBuddy, Tencent's AI-powered coding assistant, as part of a strategic initiative to transform its DevOps practices. The agreement, announced ahead of Tencent Cloud's participation at LEAP 2026, marks the latest milestone in Tencent Cloud's deepening commitment to Saudi Arabia and the wider Middle East, building on its first Middle East Cloud Region in Saudi Arabia announced in 2025, which features two availability zones and a business operation commitment of more than US$150 million. Tencent Cloud also recently obtained the Class C License in Saudi Arabia, the highest certification tier for cloud service providers. The announcement coincides with the global rollout of Tencent's Hy3 AI model, which has recorded more than 68 times as many API calls as its previous-generation model, and is accessible to businesses and developers across the region through platforms like WorkBuddy, Tencent Design Miora, and Tencent Cloud TokenHub. The partnership underscores the accelerating AI adoption in Saudi Arabia, where 45.2% of internet users have adopted AI tools and the national cloud computing market is valued at approximately US$5.5 billion in 2026, projected to reach US$11.47 billion by 2031.
