Tesla IncArticle reports diverging consensus estimates for Q2 deliveries; no actual delivery number yet, so impact is uncertain.

Tesla is preparing to report second-quarter deliveries around July 2, a data point seen as its most consequential in two years. Two consensus figures are being tracked: the Bloomberg consensus of 396,466 vehicles and the Tesla-compiled consensus averaging 406,024 with a median of 408,609. Ahead of the report, Tesla shares rose roughly 8% to trade at $410 intraday on Monday. Several major firms forecast deliveries above both benchmarks, including Goldman Sachs at 420,000, Barclays at 418,000, and Morgan Stanley at about 413,000. The report will be closely watched for signs of sequential growth and inventory reduction after a first-quarter production-delivery gap of roughly 50,363 units.
