The company reported second-quarter revenue of $40.2 billion, a 34% year-over-year increase, while earnings per share jumped 77% to $4.31, exceeding analyst expectations. TSMC also guided for third-quarter revenue of $45.2 billion and an operating margin of 57%, signaling further strong profit growth. Management cited AI applications such as agentic AI as a key driver, with industry projections showing AI infrastructure spending could rise from an estimated $1 trillion in 2027 to $3–$4 trillion by 2030. The stock trades at 25 times forward earnings, and if earnings per share reach $28.03 in 2028, the share price could climb to $700, representing a potential gain of 67% from current levels.
