Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company reported second-quarter 2026 revenues of $40.2 billion, up 33.7% year over year, with net income and earnings per share jumping 77.4% from the prior-year quarter. Management guided third-quarter revenues between $44.6 billion and $45.8 billion and expects full-year 2026 revenues to increase more than 30% in U.S. dollar terms, driven by surging AI infrastructure demand and rapid adoption of leading-edge process technologies. In the second quarter, 3-nanometer products accounted for 30% of wafer revenues, 5-nanometer contributed 33%, 7-nanometer 11%, and the newly introduced 2-nanometer technology already generated 3% of wafer revenues. The company is ramping 2-nanometer capacity at Hsinchu and Kaohsiung, with N2P and A16 volume production scheduled for the second half of 2026, and A14 technology slated for volume production in 2028. Taiwan Semiconductor has gained 71.8% over the past year, outperforming the sector's 28.6% growth and peers Monolithic Power Systems and Analog Devices.
