Vertical Aerospace signed two agreements with Saudi organizations to support the future introduction of electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft in the Kingdom. The first memorandum of understanding was signed with Saudi Arabia's General Authority of Civil Aviation to explore the regulatory and operational framework needed for advanced air mobility, including support for validation of Vertical's Valo aircraft type certification and development of regulations for electric aircraft operations. A separate memorandum of understanding was signed with Cluster2 Airports Company to study potential eVTOL operations across its airport network and assess infrastructure requirements. The announcements were made during the Farnborough International Airshow.
