Global stocks edged higher on Thursday as investors balanced renewed Middle East tensions against strength in technology shares and resilient economic data. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 0.16% to 52,433.50, the S&P 500 gained 0.41% to 7,513.49, and the Nasdaq Composite jumped 0.62% to 26,030.46. Oil prices seesawed after Iranian forces attacked U.S. military infrastructure in Qatar, Kuwait, and Bahrain, with Brent crude down 0.62% to nearly $77.54 a barrel. Sentiment was also buoyed by reports that China may allow limited access to Nvidia's H200 chips and that SK Hynix's $28 billion U.S. share listing was more than seven times oversubscribed. Benchmark 10-year U.S. Treasury yields ticked lower to 4.56%, while gold edged up 1.41% to $4,133.62 an ounce.
