Wp Energy Public Company LimitedStrategy shift to manage costs and high-potential customers, plus credit rating assessment and CAC certification, may improve financial credibility and access to funding.

WP Energy Public Company Limited, or WP, announced a strategy adjustment for the second half of 2026, no longer focusing solely on increasing LPG sales volume but instead on managing high-potential customers and controlling costs to reduce pressure from price competition. The company maintains its 2026 LPG sales target of 770,000 tonnes and aims for long-term average growth of 2.8 percent per year through its JUMP+ strategic plan, while expanding distribution points and preparing to invest in alternative energy businesses to create new revenue and diversify risk. The company is undergoing a credit rating assessment by TRIS Rating Company Limited to enhance credibility and prepare access to new funding sources. It also received certification as a member of Thailand's Private Sector Collective Action Against Corruption, or CAC, on 30 June 2026, and has completed verified corporate greenhouse gas emissions accounting.
