Xiaoming Shares announced that July chicken product sales revenue was 88.6408 million yuan, up 18.04% month-on-month and up 17.97% year-on-year. The company sold 21.2874 million chicks in the month, up 9.44% month-on-month and up 6.82% year-on-year. The company stated that the growth was mainly due to high temperature and humidity causing a decline in laying rates among laying hens, leading to a temporary tightness in egg supply, high egg prices, and increased restocking enthusiasm among farming units. It is expected that in August, with the Mid-Autumn Festival stockpiling and school opening procurement demand, egg demand will see seasonal growth.
