Xpeng IncCiti lowered price target citing margin pressure from higher battery and memory chip prices, but maintains Buy rating with 67% upside.

XPeng Inc. reported a 4% month-over-month increase in May 2026 vehicle deliveries, reaching 32,158 units. The company estimates that its electric vehicles delivered from January through May 2026 will cut greenhouse gas emissions by at least 2 million tons compared with internal combustion engine vehicles. Citi lowered its price target on XPeng to $22.50 from $25.60 on May 28, while maintaining a Buy rating, citing margin pressure from higher battery and memory chip prices. The revised target still implies upside potential exceeding 67% from current levels. XPeng also plans to begin trial passenger operations for its robotaxi service in the third quarter.
