Yuanta Securities Thailand notes that Microsoft Corporation reported fiscal fourth quarter 2026 results that came in ahead of market expectations on nearly every front. Revenue reached 90.01 billion US dollars, up 17.75 percent from the same period a year earlier and 2.60 percentage points above consensus. Adjusted earnings per share stood at 4.74 US dollars, beating estimates by 11.53 percentage points. The main growth driver was the cloud business, especially Azure, which posted 43 percent growth, exceeding forecasts and accelerating from 40 percent in the prior quarter. Analysts see enterprise AI transitioning into real-world adoption, with Azure AI Foundry reaching 100,000 customers and revenue more than doubling, while Microsoft 365 Copilot surpassed 30 million paid seats, up from more than 20 million seats in the previous quarter. In addition, Microsoft expects Azure to grow 45 percent in the first quarter of fiscal 2027 and plans to increase capital expenditure, with investment in that quarter set to exceed 50 billion US dollars.
