ZenaTech Inc.ZenaTech's subsidiary begins flight testing of new counter-drone platform, a positive product development.

ZenaTech’s ZenaDrone subsidiary has commenced initial flight testing of its Interceptor P-1, a low-cost, one-way autonomous counter-drone platform. The testing, conducted near the company’s Mesa, Arizona facility, will evaluate vertical takeoff and landing performance, high-speed maneuverability, target acquisition and tracking algorithms, guidance controls, and communications reliability. The Interceptor P-1, first disclosed in March 2026 with a target selling price of under $5,000 USD, is designed as an affordable alternative to traditional missile-based drone defense systems. Subsequent test phases are expected to include autonomous target pursuit, moving-target intercept exercises, and integration with ZenaTech’s AI-powered Counter-UAS command software. The company is also establishing a Ukrainian entity, Phoenix Aero LLC, to support future manufacturing and testing of the Interceptor P-1 as part of its EMEA operations.
