ZenaTech’s ZenaDrone subsidiary has commenced initial flight testing of its Interceptor P-1, a low-cost, one-way autonomous counter-drone platform. The testing, conducted near the company’s Mesa, Arizona facility, will evaluate vertical takeoff and landing performance, high-speed maneuverability, target acquisition and tracking algorithms, guidance controls, and communications reliability. The Interceptor P-1, first disclosed in March 2026 with a target selling price of under $5,000 USD, is designed as an affordable alternative to traditional missile-based drone defense systems. ZenaTech has completed the acquisition of BA Land Professionals LLC, a surveying company based in Dayton, Ohio, marking its 26th Drones-as-a-Service acquisition to date. The acquired firm is licensed to operate in Ohio, Kentucky, Tennessee, and North Carolina, expanding ZenaTech's US presence to 12 states across construction, infrastructure, energy, and public works. CEO Shaun Passley highlighted that the deal opens four states at once and brings a management team with 40 years of combined surveying experience and long-standing client relationships. BA Land Professionals specializes in topographic surveys, construction staking, ALTA/NSPS surveys, drone and LiDAR mapping, and GPS control services. ZenaTech's U.S.-based subsidiary ZenaDrone is now planning to begin scheduling technology demonstrations with U.S. government defense agencies, starting with its first confirmed agency demonstration. ZenaTech has introduced Zoo Office, a unified AI-driven productivity platform that will serve as the future foundation and unifying brand for its enterprise SaaS portfolio.
