Zijin Mining has released its 2026 interim profit distribution plan, proposing a cash dividend of 4.20 yuan per 10 shares to all shareholders. Based on a total share capital of 26.513 billion shares, the total cash dividend is expected to be approximately 11.136 billion yuan. This plan exceeds the earlier board proposal of no less than 3.80 yuan per 10 shares. The company has been consistently enhancing shareholder returns in recent years, with a cash dividend of nearly 16 billion yuan for the 2025 fiscal year, accounting for 30.81 percent of net profit. It also plans for cumulative dividends from 2026 to 2028 to be no less than 35 percent of the total distributable profit over the three years in principle. On the performance front, the company expects a net profit attributable to shareholders of approximately 39.1 billion yuan for the first half of 2026, a year-on-year increase of 68 percent. Businesses including gold, copper, and lithium have seen both volume and price increases. The Manono lithium mine project commenced production ahead of schedule, and construction has begun on the Anhui Shapinggou molybdenum mine processing project.
