Zhonggong Hi-Tech released its 2026 interim report on August 28. Leveraging scientific decision-making technology for highway maintenance, the company benefited from regional market expansion and cost control, achieving a turnaround from loss to profit during the reporting period. Operating revenue was 61.2403 million yuan, up 5.09% year-on-year; net profit attributable to the parent was 2.5933 million yuan, compared with a loss of 331,400 yuan in the same period last year; net profit attributable to the parent after deducting non-recurring items was 2.4673 million yuan, also turning positive. Net cash flow from operating activities was negative 58.4008 million yuan, with the net outflow widening from negative 54.8102 million yuan in the same period last year. The turnaround was mainly driven by new projects in Jilin, Shandong, Heilongjiang and other regions boosting revenue, as well as expense-side optimization including a sharp 46.93% year-on-year reduction in R&D expenses to 3.237 million yuan. However, the book balance of accounts receivable remained as high as 195 million yuan, and collection progress directly affects cash flow performance.
