Shenzhou High-Speed Railway posts loss of 53.3875 million yuan in first half of 2026

Shenzhou High-Speed Railway disclosed its 2026 semi-annual report on August 29. In the first half of the year, total operating revenue reached 591 million yuan, up 3.31 percent year on year, but net profit attributable to the parent company showed a loss of 53.3875 million yuan, compared with a loss of 94.9689 million yuan in the same period last year, narrowing the loss. Net profit after deducting non-recurring items was a loss of 74.5221 million yuan, compared with a loss of 108 million yuan a year earlier. Net cash flow from operating activities was negative 62.6363 million yuan, compared with negative 64.4099 million yuan in the prior-year period. During the reporting period, basic earnings per share were negative 0.0197 yuan, and the weighted average return on net assets was negative 2.47 percent. The company focuses on the rail transit sector, forming two core business segments: rail transit operation and maintenance equipment, and operation and maintenance services. As of the end of the first half of 2026, the company's goodwill reached 1.703 billion yuan, equivalent to 79.85 percent of net assets in the same period.
