Shenzhen Energy appoints Sheng Yangyi as new board secretary

Shenzhen Energy Plans to Invest USD 34 Million in a 50 MW Solar Project in Ghana

Shenzhen Energy announced that its holding company, Ghana Company, plans to invest in the construction of a 50 MW solar power project in Tamale, Ghana. The total investment for the project is USD 34 million, of which USD 12.5 million will come from its own funds, and the remaining investment will be provided through an interest-bearing loan from Gentek Company to Ghana Company using Gentek's own retained earnings. The company plans to inject an additional USD 7.5 million into Shenzhen Energy Hong Kong. Shenzhen Energy Hong Kong and the China-Africa Development Fund will then inject USD 7.5 million and USD 5 million respectively into Gentek Company, based on their 60% and 40% equity stakes.
