Norinco International Signs $383 Million in New Contracts in Q2, Total Unfinished Contracts Reach $11.444 Billion

Norinco International disclosed its engineering business performance for the second quarter of 2026. In Q2, it signed six new project contracts with a total value of 383 million US dollars. As of June 30, 2026, the company had 78 signed but unfinished project contracts, with a total contract value of 11.444 billion US dollars. Among these, 26 contracts worth 5.144 billion US dollars have been signed but not yet effective, and 52 contracts worth 6.3 billion US dollars are effective and under execution. In terms of major projects, the company signed the Senegal Douta Gold Mine project in Q2, valued at 223 million US dollars. Among projects under execution, the Bangladesh Boduakali Coal-fired Power Plant achieved commercial operation of both units on May 28. For the Mongolia Mine Integration Project, in the first half of the year, the mining segment completed extraction and transportation of 20.01 million cubic meters, the logistics transportation segment completed 1.93 million tons of transport volume, the customs clearance and warehousing segment handled 3.17 million tons of cargo throughput, and the coking coal sales segment achieved sales of 1.69 million tons. The Croatia Senj Wind Power Project generated a cumulative on-grid electricity of 196 million kilowatt-hours in the first half of the year.
