The company offers blood products such as human serum albumin, human prothrombin complex concentrate, human coagulation factor VIII, human fibrinogen, and freeze-dried human fibrin glue for surgical use, as well as intravenous, human, rabies, hepatitis B, and tetanus immunoglobulin. It also provides vaccines, including influenza virus split, H1N1 influenza A virus split, quadrivalent influenza virus split, group A and C meningococcal polysaccharide, group ACYW135 meningococcal polysaccharide, recombinant hepatitis B vaccine, freeze-dried human rabies, and adsorbed tetanus vaccines. In addition, the company develops monoclonal antibody drugs and biosimilars: rituximab injection (Phase III for CD20-positive diffuse large B-cell/follicular non-Hodgkin lymphoma and chronic lymphocytic leukemia), adalimumab injection (Phase III for autoimmune diseases), denosumab injection (Phase III for bone metastases), injectable trastuzumab (Phase III for HER2-positive metastatic/early-stage breast cancer and metastatic gastric cancer), and recombinant Exendin-4-FC fusion protein injection (Phase I/II for type 2 diabetes). It is also involved in poultry farming research and development, plasma collection, engineering technology research and experimental development, and inspection and testing services. Founded in 1992, the company is headquartered in Xinxiang, China.

Hualan Biological Engineering released its 2026 interim report. First-half net profit attributable to the parent was 383 million yuan, down 25.7% year on year. Operating revenue was 1.57 billion yuan, down 12.9% year on year. Net profit attributable to the parent after deducting non-recurring items was 342 million yuan, down 29.4% year on year. Net operating cash flow was 343 million yuan, up 48.7% year on year. Earnings per share were 0.21 yuan. In the second quarter, operating revenue was 805 million yuan, down 13.5% year on year, and net profit attributable to the parent was 153 million yuan, down 24.5% year on year. As of the end of the second quarter, total assets were 14.548 billion yuan, down 4.7% from the end of the previous year, and net assets attributable to the parent were 10.972 billion yuan, down 4.6% from the end of the previous year. The company said both its blood products and vaccine businesses faced significant changes. Influenza vaccine sales fell 90.86% from the same period last year, but plasma collection volume in the first half rose 16.55% from a year earlier.
