Focus Media first-half net profit rises 17.39% year on year

Focus Media disclosed its 2026 semi-annual report, achieving net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company of 3.128 billion yuan, up 17.39% year on year. During the reporting period, the company's operating revenue was 5.991 billion yuan, down 1.98% year on year, while net cash flow from operating activities was 4.453 billion yuan, up 30.91% year on year. In its core building media business, revenue from internet clients reached 1.593 billion yuan, a sharp increase of 65.72% year on year, lifting its share of operating revenue to 26.60%. Revenue from daily consumer goods clients was 2.747 billion yuan, remaining the main source of revenue. The company's wholly owned subsidiary Focus Multi-Media invested 20 million yuan to acquire a 51% stake in Titanium Magnesium Era, entering the generative engine optimization sector and launching the Focus Smart Investment product. The company plans to distribute a cash dividend of 0.50 yuan per 10 shares before tax to all shareholders, with total proposed cash dividends of approximately 722 million yuan.

Focus Media's wholly-owned subsidiary FMDL's controlled subsidiary FMOIL III has completed a capital increase and equity expansion to bring in investors. This capital increase raised a total of 63 million US dollars. All relevant documents have been signed, the transaction consideration has been received in full, and procedures such as registration and shareholder filings have been completed. Investors include Elevision Holding Limited, OASIS PROSPERITY LIMITED, DIGI VERTICAL LTD, Co-Innoah Growth Fund I LP, and the company's affiliated legal entity Top New Development Limited. After the capital increase, FMDL's shareholding in FMOIL III changed from 70 percent to 50.22 percent. FMOIL III remains a controlled subsidiary of the company and is included in the company's consolidated financial statements. The company stated that this capital increase is conducive to enhancing the financial strength of its overseas subsidiary FMOIL III, promoting its sustainable and high-quality development, and supporting the expansion and layout of the company's overseas business.
