It operates in four segments: sales and distribution of natural gas and related products; gas pipeline construction and connection; exploitation and production of crude oil and natural gas; and production and sales of coal-derived clean energy and related products. Its activities include piped city gas, pipeline design and construction, transportation, distribution and sale of compressed and liquefied natural gas, and development, production and sale of crude oil, natural gas and other upstream energy resources. The company also handles natural gas transmission, coal processing, trading of natural gas, and transportation and finance services, serving residential, industrial and commercial users. Incorporated in 1993, it is headquartered in Causeway Bay, Hong Kong.
