Brookfield Asset Management signs Sweden sovereign AI partnership with Telia and KTH

Brookfield Asset Management, Telia Company, and KTH Royal Institute of Technology have signed a memorandum of understanding to develop sovereign AI services and applications in Sweden. The partnership will focus on large language models and AI-driven services for key Swedish sectors, supported by Brookfield's previously announced AI infrastructure investment in the country. The initiative gives Brookfield a foothold in a segment where data control, security, and local infrastructure are central concerns for governments and large enterprises. Brookfield's stock is currently trading at CA$66.68, with a return of 72.5% over the past three years, while returns over the past year and year to date have declined 9.6% and 9.1% respectively.
