Ipsos CEO Kelly Beaver Accelerates Horizons Strategic Plan Execution
Ipsos Chief Executive Officer Kelly Beaver used an investor presentation in Paris on September 14, 2026 to confirm the Horizons strategic plan and pledge to accelerate its execution. Beaver, who was appointed CEO on July 30, 2026, said the plan, built around six pillars covering global solutions growth, strong local presence, speed, artificial intelligence, access to real people, and data integration and analytics, remains the right strategy but must now translate into results more quickly, particularly as performance since the beginning of the year has fallen short of the company's ambitions. As of August 31, organic growth in the order book stood at 1.2%, stable compared with the end of June, while organic revenue growth was 1.1%, up from 0.8% at the end of the first half. Beaver also launched a new corporate campaign, Augmented Ipsos, under the tagline Augmenting Speed, Augmenting Insights, Augmenting Trust. Ipsos will present its Q3 2026 results on 23 October at 8:30 a.m. CET.

Bank of England Inflation Expectations Survey Change Causes Sharp Drop in August Figures
The Bank of England announced that its survey of the public's inflation expectations, which it commissions, showed a sharp drop in August figures after it changed its survey provider. The August data, commissioned from Savanta, showed one-year-ahead inflation expectations at 3.2%, two-year-ahead at 2.9%, and five-year-ahead at 3.2%. The May data surveyed by Ipsos were 4.0%, 3.5%, and 3.9% respectively. However, the Bank of England revealed that it had also commissioned Savanta to conduct the May survey, and compared with the Ipsos survey, the results for the same period were about 0.5 percentage points lower at 3.6%, 3.1%, and 3.3%. The Bank of England said, "When comparing changes between May and August, the impact of the change in survey company is also reflected, so it should be treated with caution." The Bank of England said it selected Savanta as its provider through a competitive tender.

Ipsos, one of the world's leading market research and opinion polling companies, generated revenue of €615.2 million in the second quarter, up 4.9%, with organic growth reaching 3.0%, marking a strong rebound after a 1.4% decline in the first quarter. For the first half of 2026, revenue stood at €1,170.1 million, up 1.3%, and organic growth returned to positive territory at 0.8%, while scope effects contributed 3.9% mainly from the acquisition of The BVA Family, partially offset by the deconsolidation of Russia, and adverse currency effects had a negative impact of 3.4%. The order book for 2026 showed organic growth of 1.6% at the end of the second quarter, up from 1.0% at the end of March, driven by Public Affairs, Consumer Goods clients, and China, with improvements also in the pharmaceutical sector and the United Kingdom. All regions returned to positive organic growth in the second quarter, with EMEA at 0.9%, the Americas at 5.5%, and Asia-Pacific at 3.8%, while all audience segments accelerated, notably Citizens with nearly 8% organic growth in the quarter. The Group now expects full-year organic growth of around 2% and maintains its objective of an operating margin in line with 2025, despite the deconsolidation of Russia and the full-year inclusion of The BVA Family.
