Tryg reports Q2 2026 insurance service result of DKK 1,190m, combined ratio 88.8%

Tryg's Supervisory Board approved the interim report for Q2 2026. The insurance service result was DKK 1,190 million, compared to DKK 2,307 million a year earlier, with a combined ratio of 88.8 percent versus 77.2 percent. Excluding a one-off provision related to the Supreme Court ruling on Danish workers' compensation from 28 April 2026, the insurance service result was DKK 2,390 million and the combined ratio was 77.4 percent. The underlying claims ratio improved by 50 basis points, supported by strong performance in Norway and premium growth of 3.3 percent in local currencies. The investment result was DKK 262 million, up from DKK 110 million, and profit before tax was DKK 1,076 million, or DKK 2,276 million adjusted for the one-off provision. The ordinary dividend was raised to DKK 2.15 per share, an increase of around 5 percent, and the solvency ratio stood at 196 percent.
