Italgas Reports 27% Jump in Adjusted Net Profit on Strong Revenue Growth
Italgas SpA reported a 27% increase in adjusted net profit to 398.6 million euros for the first half of 2026, driven by a 17.5% rise in adjusted revenue. EBITDA reached 1.72 billion euros with a margin of 81%, while operating cash flow of nearly 930 million euros covered all capital expenditures and part of the dividend. Technical investments surged 55% to 800 million euros, mainly for digitization, and the company achieved 82.2 million euros in cost savings, a 22.8% reduction. Net financial debt stood at 10.7 billion euros excluding IFRS 16 and IFRIC 12, with 81% at a fixed rate and an average cost just under 2.1%. Moody's upgraded the credit outlook to positive, reflecting strong operational performance.
