Huadian Power International Corporation Limited, together with its subsidiaries, engages in power generation, heat supply, coal sales, and related businesses in the People's Republic of China. It constructs and operates power plants, including large-scale coal-fired and gas-fired units and hydropower projects, and is also involved in coal production and sales, power project investment and development, electricity trading, engineering and consulting services, and wharf construction and operation. As of December 31, 2025, the company had 55 controlled power plants with a total installed capacity of approximately 77,924,288 kW. The company was formerly known as Shandong International Power Development Co. Ltd. and changed its name to Huadian Power International Corporation Limited in June 2004. It was incorporated in 1994 and is headquartered in Beijing, the People's Republic of China.
