Taiwan-Asia Semiconductor Corporation manufactures and sells semiconductor components in Taiwan and internationally. Its products include sensing devices such as photodiodes, phototransistors, and phototriacs; power devices including power MOSFETs, TVS diodes, zener diodes, and resistors; and general and high-brightness LEDs and VCSELs. These products are used in consumer and wearable, industrial, automotive, home appliance, security, display, and lighting applications. The company was formerly known as Opto Tech Corporation, was founded in 1983, and is based in Hsinchu City, Taiwan.
