Yongfu Co. and China National Electric Engineering Co. formally signed a design services contract in Fuzhou for the 1,406.017 MW gas-fired power plant project in Tebessa, Algeria. The project is a national-level key power infrastructure project in Algeria, planned to build two sets of two-on-one combined cycle units, each equipped with two GE 9F.04 gas turbine generator units, two heat recovery steam generators, one steam turbine generator unit, and one air-cooled condenser. Yongfu Co. will undertake design and management services. This is Yongfu Co.'s first project in the Algerian market and also the company's largest overseas gas-fired power plant project by single-unit capacity to date, marking an important breakthrough for its internationalization strategy in North Africa.
