The company additionally sells automobiles, trams, auto parts, metal materials, hardware, electronic and mechanical equipment, and chemical products; handles import and export of goods and technologies; operates highways and parking lots; provides land freight transportation, domestic freight forwarding, and leasing of machinery, vehicles, and containers; and engages in warehousing development, construction, operation, leasing, and sales, property management and investment, motor vehicle inspection, vehicle storage, warehousing, computer software, and logistics activities, as well as technical consulting. Its products are marketed under the CIMC Lighthouse, Vanguard, CIE, SDC, LAG, Ruijiang Tanker, and Tonghua Tanker brands. Formerly Shenzhen Tianda Heavy Industries Ltd., it changed its name to CIMC Vehicles (Group) Co., Ltd. in May 2005, was incorporated in 1996, and is headquartered in Shenzhen, the People's Republic of China.

CIMC Vehicles Appoints Ding Zhengxiang as President

CIMC Vehicles disclosed that the US Department of Commerce has set a preliminary countervailing duty rate of 82.37% and a preliminary anti-dumping duty rate of 130.76% on van semi-trailers and their components from Qingdao CIMC Reefer Trailer Transport Equipment Co., Ltd. The investigation was led and coordinated by CIMC Vehicles' US subsidiary Vanguard Global Trailer Holding, covering products from Mexico, Canada, and China. Vanguard Refrigerated Trailer Co., Ltd in Canada faces a preliminary anti-dumping duty rate of 4.29%. In the first quarter of 2026, CIMC Vehicles recorded revenue of 4.645 billion yuan and net profit attributable to the parent of 157 million yuan.
