Yubang New Materials resumes trading as GDAT plans to take control for 861 million yuan
After a one-week suspension, Yubang New Materials resumed trading on September 7, revealing its potential new owner: GDAT, a leading enterprise in the low-altitude economy, and its actual controller Jiang Wenquan will take the helm of this photovoltaic ribbon leader. On the evening of September 6, Yubang New Materials announced that Suzhou Deling, under GDAT, plans to spend 861 million yuan to acquire a 29.99% stake in the company, and intends to obtain a total of 34.99% equity through a partial tender offer. Both the agreement transfer and the tender offer price are 20.08 yuan per share, a discount of nearly 20% from the pre-suspension closing price of 24.97 yuan per share. After the transaction is completed, the company's controlling shareholder will change to Suzhou Deling, and the actual controller will change to Jiang Wenquan. The acquirer Suzhou Deling was established only 10 days ago. Behind it, GDAT achieved revenue of 555 million yuan in 2025, with net profit attributable to the parent company of 100 million yuan. Yubang New Materials has seen fluctuating performance in recent years, with net profit attributable to the parent company in the first half of 2026 up 88.94% year-on-year. This transaction still requires review by the Shenzhen Stock Exchange and is subject to uncertainty.
