Curacle Co., Ltd. is a bio-venture company engaged in research and development of drugs for intractable vascular and metabolic diseases associated with aging. Its pipeline includes CU06, an oral therapy that completed Phase 2a trials for diabetic macular edema; CU01, which completed Phase 2b trials for Nrf2 activation and inhibition of TGF-β/Smad signaling; MT-101, a humanized Tie2 agonist antibody for renal diseases; and MT-103, a bispecific antibody combining Tie2 agonist and anti-VEGF functions for wAMD. Memento Medicines launches with $93 million Series A to advance Tie2 agonist and VEGF inhibitor bispecific antibody for retinal diseases

Memento Medicines has launched with a $93 million Series A financing round co-led by Forbion, RA Capital Management and Avego BioScience Capital, with participation from Sanofi Ventures and Samsara BioCapital. The company also secured an exclusive worldwide license from MabTics and Curacle for MMT-205, a bispecific antibody that activates Tie2 and inhibits VEGF, being developed for neovascular age-related macular degeneration and diabetic macular edema. Proceeds will fund IND-enabling studies, with clinical trials expected to begin in 2027. Memento Medicines is the fifth subsidiary of Sera Medicines, an antibody accelerator formed in collaboration with RA Capital in 2023.
