Remixpoint Sells All Altcoins, Gains Approximately 117.78 Million Yen

Remixpoint announced on September 2 that it sold all of its cryptocurrency holdings other than Bitcoin (altcoins) on September 1, resulting in a gain of approximately 117.78 million yen. The sold assets included Ethereum (ETH), Solana (SOL), XRP, and Dogecoin (DOGE), with total proceeds of approximately 878.81 million yen. The gain will be recorded as segment revenue in the second quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2027. Following this sale, the company's cryptocurrency holdings consist solely of Bitcoin, with approximately 1,506 BTC. The company stated that it will continue to hold and manage its assets primarily in BTC, taking into account market conditions and the risk-return profiles of various cryptocurrencies. Remixpoint is one of the digital asset treasury (DAT) companies that actively holds BTC as a corporate financial asset. According to Bitcoin Treasuries, it ranks third among Japanese listed companies in BTC holdings, following Metaplanet and Nexon. On April 23, the company announced its first BTC acquisition in about six months, and subsequently continued to increase its holdings, making four purchases within a week by the end of April, totaling 1 billion yen. On August 20, it announced that its overall cryptocurrency holdings had turned to an unrealized gain of approximately 423.05 million yen amid a market rebound. About two weeks later, it sold all altcoins, leaving only BTC, which further clarified the company's BTC-centric cryptocurrency strategy. Regarding the proceeds from the altcoin sales, the company said it will consider using them to expand assets such as grid-scale storage batteries and strengthen its financial base, but it did not indicate that the funds would be used for additional BTC purchases.
