NeoJapan Posts 7.3% Rise in First-Half Ordinary Profit to 1.38 Billion Yen
NeoJapan announced its earnings at midday on September 11, reporting consolidated ordinary profit of 1.38 billion yen for the cumulative second quarter of the fiscal year ending January 2027, up 7.3% from the same period a year earlier. That represents 50.7% progress toward the full-year plan of 2.74 billion yen, roughly in line with the five-year average of 49.0%. Based on the company's unchanged full-year plan, consolidated ordinary profit for the August-to-January second half would come to 1.35 billion yen, up 2.8% year on year. Consolidated ordinary profit for the most recent three months, the May-to-July quarter, rose 5.6% year on year to 670 million yen, while the operating profit margin on sales climbed to 30.9% from 30.7% a year earlier.
