Formerly known as Aichi Kagaku Kogyo Co., Ltd., it changed its name to Aica Kogyo Company, Limited in June 1966. Incorporated in 1936, it is headquartered in Nagoya, Japan.

ADB Q2 2026 profit surges 867% to 41 million baht, partners with AICA to drive growth

Applied DB Public Company Limited, or ADB, reported a second-quarter 2026 net profit of 41.27 million baht, up 867% from the same period last year, on revenue of 277.73 million baht, a 50% increase driven by strong demand in the energy and electronics industries, along with profit recognition from its joint venture ADBS, which is a partnership with Japanese giant AICA. Profit from ADBS in the quarter came in at 9.89 million baht, a 70% rise. For the first half, ADB posted a net profit of 58.52 million baht, up 287%. The board approved an interim dividend of 0.03 baht per share and the issuance of free warrants, ADB-W1, to existing shareholders at a ratio of two existing shares for one warrant, with an exercise price of 1.55 baht per share and a term of up to two years, to fund business expansion. The company expects continued growth in the second half, focusing on expanding the proportion of wire and cable-grade plastic pellets through retail channels to capitalize on the AI data center and EV trends.
