It operates through three segments: Paint Business, Specialty Chemical, and Distillation Business. Its products include versatile paints, metal paints, and exterior and interior paints for industrial products and housing construction materials, as well as coating agents used in smartphones, PCs, other information devices, display films, and automobile interiors. The company also collects, distills, and recycles used solvents, sells various thinners, and handles the collection, transport, and disposal of waste materials. Formerly known as Natoco Paint Co., Ltd., it changed its name to Natoco Co., Ltd. in November 1998, was incorporated in 1948, and is headquartered in Miyoshi, Japan.

Natco raises earnings forecast for fiscal year ending October 2026

Natco has revised upward its earnings forecast for the fiscal year ending October 2026, announcing an operating profit of 2.03 billion yen (up 45.2% year-on-year). This represents a 40% increase from the previous forecast. The revision is attributed to increased sales due to uncertainties in the Middle East situation and the smooth progress of individual projects in the fine chemicals business. In the third-quarter results announced simultaneously, cumulative operating profit reached 1.65 billion yen (up 64.8% year-on-year).
