Local, Inc. is a Japanese company engaged in food manufacturing and specialty store retailing. It operates through two business domains: Direct to Consumer, which covers planning, manufacturing, and sales of agricultural products, specialty products, processed food, and beverages, along with associated e-commerce sites such as Kumamoto Fudo, Kyushu Fudo, Local Fudo, and Kyushu Omotenashi Fruit Village; and Business to Government, which provides hometown tax donation management support and manages local government e-commerce sites. The company serves individual consumers and municipalities across Japan. Formerly known as Comsense Co., Ltd., it changed its name to Local, Inc. in 2021, was incorporated in 2008, and is headquartered in Kumamoto, Japan.
