Lumir Inc. is a South Korean company in the satellite system development business. It develops small synthetic aperture radar (SAR) satellite systems, including the CAS500-5 C-band SAR satellite system, as well as small SAR payloads, Ka-band transmitters and phased array antennas, space internet communication devices for lunar exploration, image data handling units, on-board computers, Control Moment Gyro Controllers, and solenoids for marine engine fuel control valves. The company also operates the SARDIP Web Platform, which offers search, purchase, and analysis services, and provides SAR Level-1 image processing, AI-powered object detection, disaster damage analysis, urban change monitoring, and water resource facility safety management solutions. Formerly known as J&M System Co., Ltd, it changed its name to Lumir Inc. in September 2016; it was founded in 2009 and is headquartered in Yongin-si, South Korea.
