ELEMENTS bid-only after selection for NEDO's data ecosystem R&D project

ELEMENTS is bid-only. The company announced it has been selected as an implementing operator for the project 'Post-5G Information and Communication Systems Infrastructure Enhancement R&D / Research and Development on Building a Data Ecosystem (GENIAC)' publicly solicited by the New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization, or NEDO. Under this project, the company will collaborate with multiple major manufacturers to formalize tacit knowledge from Japanese manufacturing sites into AI-learnable multimodal datasets, and fairly provide them to domestic operators that meet requirements as the core of a data ecosystem connecting data providers, AI developers, and manufacturing sites. It will be operated as a domestic data infrastructure not reliant on overseas companies, with an eye on collaboration with physical AI-related projects promoted by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry and NEDO.
