Guangzhou Development Group Incorporated is an integrated energy company operating in China and internationally through six segments: Coal-Fired Power Generation and Heating; Natural Gas Power and Heat; New Energy and Energy Storage; Gas; Energy Logistics; and Others. It develops, invests in, constructs, and operates energy projects, including new energy power generation, energy storage, electricity sales and services, and gas operations across upstream, midstream, and downstream activities. The company also invests in and operates coal, oil, ports, shipping, and hazardous chemical storage, leases oil tanks and supporting facilities, and provides energy finance services. Incorporated in 1997 and based in Guangzhou, China, it is a subsidiary of Guangzhou Industrial Investment Holdings Group.

Guangzhou Gas Non-Residential Piped Gas Sales Price Cap Adjusted to 4.41 Yuan per Cubic Meter

Guangzhou Development’s wholly-owned subsidiary Guangzhou Gas Group received a notice from the Guangzhou Municipal Development and Reform Commission. Starting July 20, 2026, the maximum sales price cap for non-residential piped gas in Guangzhou will be adjusted to 4.41 yuan per cubic meter, with no upward adjustment allowed and no limit on downward adjustment. The implementation period runs until January 19, 2027. This adjustment is based on the linkage mechanism between gas source prices and sales prices, aiming to balance supply and demand and promote the healthy development of the gas business.
