Jinjing Technology posts first-half loss of 313 million yuan as glass prices and volumes fall

Jinjing Technology released its half-year report, showing that in the first half of 2026 the company achieved operating revenue of 1.811 billion yuan, down 24.35 percent year on year, while net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company was a loss of 313 million yuan, compared with a loss of 96.2695 million yuan in the same period last year. The company said the change in revenue was mainly due to a year-on-year decline in glass product selling prices and a reduction in sales volume.

Jinjing Technology expects a loss of 310 million yuan in the first half of 2026

Jinjing Technology disclosed its earnings forecast, expecting a net loss attributable to the parent company of 310 million yuan in the first half of 2026, compared with a loss of 96.27 million yuan in the same period last year. The net loss after deducting non-recurring items is expected to be 315 million yuan, compared with a loss of 121 million yuan a year earlier. The company stated that the markets for architectural glass, photovoltaic glass, and soda ash remain sluggish, with year-on-year declines in the selling prices of major products and a drop in gross margins, leading to losses in the main business. Based on the closing price on July 14, the company's current price-to-earnings ratio is approximately negative 7.28 times, the price-to-book ratio is about 1.15 times, and the price-to-sales ratio is about 1.38 times.
