Xiamen Airport's July cargo and mail throughput drops nearly 8% year-on-year, international routes plunge 13.21%

Xiamen Airport disclosed its transport production data for July 2026. Cargo and mail throughput was 29,900 tonnes, down 7.99% year-on-year. Among this, international route cargo and mail throughput was 14,100 tonnes, a year-on-year decline of 13.21%, dragging down overall performance. Aircraft movements for the month totalled 17,907, a slight decrease of 0.90% year-on-year. Passenger throughput reached 2.6485 million, up 0.90% year-on-year. Overseas route movements were 2,755, up 6.95% year-on-year, with passenger throughput of 370,200, up 3.96% year-on-year, but cargo and mail throughput was 18,000 tonnes, down 9.98% year-on-year.
