Kuka Home's H1 revenue hits 9.875 billion yuan, with foreign trade business up 19% as a bright spot

Cailianshe, August 27 — Kuka Home announced that in the first half of the year it achieved operating revenue of 9.875 billion yuan, up 0.75% year on year, while net profit attributable to the parent company was 926 million yuan, down 9.31% year on year. Among this, foreign trade business revenue was 5.067 billion yuan, up 19.01% year on year, becoming a performance highlight. The company said traditional OEM and ODM business maintained growth, foreign trade mattresses and cross-border e-commerce business both grew, and overseas own-brand business is being piloted in Southeast Asia. On a quarterly basis, second-quarter revenue and net profit both declined year on year, putting pressure on performance. Overall industry demand is weak, with manufacturers such as Suofeiya and Zhibang Home posting declines, but export business became a bright spot. Henglin Co., Ltd. revenue grew 24.7%, and Suofeiya's export business grew 108.11%, though it accounted for only 2.11% of the total.
