Aida Engineering delays Q1 earnings release due to suspected unauthorized access

Press machine manufacturer Aida Engineering announced on July 6 that it had confirmed a possible unauthorized access incident affecting systems at its Asian base, and disclosed that it is postponing the release of its first-quarter results for the fiscal year ending March 2027, originally scheduled for August 7, to late August. At this point, no leakage of customer or business partner information has been confirmed, and business activities continue with new orders and product shipments proceeding as usual. The company explained that in order to prioritize fact-finding and a thorough assessment of the impact, it requires time to complete the quarterly closing procedures and finalize figures at its Asian base, and the release is expected to exceed 45 days after the quarter-end. The impact on earnings is under review, and the company stated it will promptly disclose any matters that require disclosure.
