Ogura Clutch Co., Ltd. manufactures and sells clutches and brakes for general industry in Japan and internationally. Its products include clutch brakes for office equipment, machine tools, and construction and industrial machinery, as well as fiber tensioners, automotive A/C clutches, root blowers (superchargers), power clutches, oil mist separators, high-pressure coolant systems, and disaster prevention systems. The company also supplies solenoids for powertrains and PTO clutches for riding, zero-turn, and commercial walk-behind mowers. Formerly known as Ogura Seisakusho Co., Ltd., it changed its name to Ogura Clutch Co., Ltd. in May 1961, was founded in 1938, and is headquartered in Kiryu, Japan.
