Tsubaki Nakashima narrows first-half net loss to 120 million yen, but second-quarter loss widens
Tsubaki Nakashima reported a consolidated net loss of 120 million yen for the cumulative first half of the fiscal year ending December 2026, covering January to June. This represents an improvement from a net loss of 960 million yen in the same period a year earlier. For the April-to-June quarter, the net loss widened to 430 million yen from 400 million yen a year ago, while the operating profit margin on sales deteriorated to 1.0 percent from 2.4 percent. Based on the company's unchanged full-year forecast, the second half from July to December is expected to swing to a net profit of 620 million yen, compared with a net loss of 26.2 billion yen in the same period last year.
