Hoden Seimitsu Kako Kenkyusho announced that consolidated ordinary profit for the first quarter of the fiscal year ending February 2027 rose 50.7% year on year to 530 million yen. In response, the company revised its forecast for the March–August first half upward by 55.9%, from the previous estimate of 480 million yen to 750 million yen, now projecting a 31.3% increase. This marks a second consecutive record high for first-half ordinary profit. The full-year ordinary profit forecast was also raised by 21.8%, from 1.08 billion yen to 1.31 billion yen, lifting the growth rate from 4.1% to 26.9% and further extending the expected second straight record high. The first-quarter operating profit margin on sales improved to 13.0%, up from 10.6% a year earlier.
