Maxeye Resolves Patent Litigation with Wacom

Maxeye announced that it has successfully resolved its patent litigation with Wacom in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, with the case officially dismissed. The lawsuit involved seven Wacom patents regarding stylus pens, and the comprehensive settlement includes core patent licensing terms, with Wacom licensing a key portion of its stylus-related patent portfolio to Maxeye. The two parties have also established a cooperative framework for future disputes, to be resolved through amicable negotiation and binding arbitration, according to Maxeye CEO Jian Deng. Maxeye, officially Shenzhen Qianfenyi Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd., is a leading producer of intelligent touch writing systems and devices, and this settlement removes uncertainty for its customers, allowing the company to continue delivering reliable stylus solutions.
