Sysmex Corporation develops, manufactures, and sells diagnostic instruments, reagents, and related software. Its offerings include hematology products such as the XN-Series fully automated analyzers, the XN-V series software for laboratory animals, and the ProCyte Dx analyzer for research use. It also provides coagulation, blood gas, electrolyte, urinalysis, and cell and microorganism analysis products, including the CDA-1000/1000B particle counter/analyzer. The company serves national and public hospitals, general hospitals, universities, research institutes, and other medical institutions. Formerly known as TOA Medical Electronics Co., Ltd., it changed its name to Sysmex Corporation in October 1998 and was founded in 1968, with headquarters in Kobe, Japan.
