Tachikawa Corporation designs, manufactures, markets, sells, and installs window covering products, primarily blinds and room partitions, mainly in Japan. Its offerings include vertical and venetian blinds, roller blinds, roman shades, transitional blinds, pleated blinds, wood blinds, partition walls, accordion doors, curtain rails, and other window coverings and interior finishing products for homes, offices, and public buildings. The company also manufactures and sells parking systems, geared motors, motorized panel louvers, and movable partitions, and provides solutions for residential, office, and public facilities. Formerly known as Tachikawa Manufacturing Co., Ltd., it changed its name to Tachikawa Corporation in October 1947; it was founded in 1938 and is headquartered in Minato, Japan.
