Meiji Shipping Group Co., Ltd. operates in the maritime business in Japan and internationally through its subsidiaries. It has three segments: Ocean Shipping, Hotel-Related, and Real Estate Rental. The company owns crude and product oil, methanol, and chemical tankers, as well as LNG, LPG, car, container, chip, and bulk carriers, primarily operated under time charter parties with shipping companies. It also provides ship management, crew manning, and supervision of new shipbuilding construction, and develops hotels, golf courses, restaurants, office buildings, and housing.
