OYO Corporation provides geological survey services in Japan and internationally. It operates through three segments: Disaster Prevention and Infrastructure, Environment and Energy, and International. The Disaster Prevention and Infrastructure segment handles surveying and restoration design for areas damaged by natural disasters, disaster prevention planning and risk consulting, monitoring systems such as seismometer networks and volcano monitoring systems, and inspection and maintenance services for social infrastructure. The Environment and Energy segment offers consulting on soil and groundwater contamination, asbestos, and waste, as well as surveys for global warming countermeasures, biodiversity conservation, methane hydrate development research, renewable energy commercialization support, and undersea 3D resource exploration. The International segment develops, manufactures, and sells non-destructive testing equipment, seismic observation systems, and geophysical exploration equipment, and provides survey, design, and construction management services. OYO Corporation was founded in 1954 and is headquartered in Tokyo, Japan.
